In depth

Verdict

Blakemount carries a penalty for last month's win at Wetherby. He ran well again when third over track and trip last time but GREENSALT may well take advantage of today's weight concession. The latter found only Milo Man too good in testing ground at Carlisle on his hurdling bow and normal progress should see him off the mark in this. Bishops Gate is another expected to improve, though he's having his first start since February, while Magic Present finished a lot closer at Sedgefield last time and genuine soft ground is an unknown for him.
