    Verdict

Bumper winner LEMON T made a decent start over hurdles when second over 2m here on his first start since March. That’s easily the best form on offer and Ruth Jefferson’s grey is the one to beat. Banks O' Houxty is another bumper winner but was well beaten at Hexham on his hurdling bow and is fitted with a tongue-tie today while Golden Chancer has yet to figure over timber. Our Promise and Weave Some Magic go hurdling for the first time having failed to threaten in bumpers while point-to-point runner-up Shouldn't Be Here finished last of 10 in a bumper here last month.
