    Verdict

    Quercus Robur scored over track and trip before returning a beaten favourite at Southwell while Fleurman won at Wolverhampton on his return to the Flat. But FIRST EMPEROR landed a double when scoring readily at Kempton and John Ryan’s charge may well defy a 5lb rise in his current form. Flint Hill will be sharper for a recent comeback run and is preferred to Kihavah.
