Queen Mia goes on the shortlist in this after a much-improved second over track and trip on her first run for new connections, though she will need to prove that was no fluke. It’s a while since Lucky Violet got her head in front but she’s tumbled down the weights. Someone Exciting has won over this trip but seems better over shorter nowadays and the veteran Joyful Star is preferred as he has dropped to a fair mark judged on his latest second here. Little went right for SILK MILL BLUE at Wolverhampton last month but he still finished second. The straight 7f here may suit him better so gets the vote ahead of Eldelbar, who has only been placing in classified races.
