Verdict

Baywing won this last year, beating West Of The Edge 4l when the ground was very testing. He's 7lb higher and will find conditions very different. His stable also run Progress Drive, who had his first run at this trip at Kelso but couldn't get close to the veteran Harry The Viking, who finished fourth in this two year's ago behind Mysteree. Rock On Fruity has completed a double over 3m1f on this track though has never been further so his stamina has to be taken on trust. Kilkishen travels over from Ireland and is another who has never been this far though he wasn't stopping over 3m4f at Fairyhouse last time. Morney Wing will have no problems staying having won over 3m5f at Sandown last time and though he's never won from a mark this high he has Rex Dingle's claim to help. Kimberlite Candy is best on heavy ground but dual Scottish National winner VICENTE looks to have been primed for this and with ground conditions and distance in his favour he can take this for his in-form yard. Ange Des Malberaux has won four of his last five over fences but is up 10lb for his latest success at Warwick and though Daklondike is a class-act he's best on testing ground.
