Verdict

Since Day One is unbeaten in three starts here but didn't jump with any fluency when stepped up to this grade at Musselburgh. Stable companion Minella Plus completed a hat-trick at the backend of last year and didn't get the run of the race when a beaten favourite for a Catterick handicap. SOFT RISK (NAP) is unbeaten in four starts, all at a lower level. He's sauntered home when long odds-on on ground with plenty of give and has to be given a chance to step up in class. Lively Citizen has won two of his last three, including a Cheltenham handicap, and has a chance off bottom weight with his rider claiming 7lb.
