Verdict
A straight-forward opportunity for the 80-rated DANCING DUDE to break his maiden tag at the main expense of Tinseltown and Across The Sea. The selection has shaped with promise in all three starts this year, with his best run coming on slightly softer ground at Musselburgh. If the ground stays good then he has a very good opportunity today. It will be 'hats off' to his trainer Alan Swinbank if he can get the modest bumper horse Stetson to win this, and a bigger threat may be Irish challenger Tinseltown. He shaped with promise on debut at Leopardstown last July (was blinkered) but looks an intriguing contender with Royston Ffrench a good jockey booking. Dinkys Diamond and Henry Havelock have both been exposed as modest over shorter trips, whilst On The Right Path needs to build on just a fair debut effort at Pontefract earlier in the month. Not a strong race, and Dancing Dude can prevail.
