        Verdict

        YTHAN WATERS found one too good yet again when runner-up at Ayr last time. But he beat Gaudy by a couple of lengths and today could be his day. Both Playboy Bay and Rose Of Kiev have plenty to find with the selection on official ratings and one of the newcomers could figure more prominently. Cosmic Statesman is a half-brother to three winners and is worth noting along with Lostock Hall, who can include a Listed winner among his relatives.
