Crowning Jewel won here and at Kelso earlier in the year but was tackling much longer trips on both occasions and he has to give 14lb and upwards to his rivals today after a break. Time Out won four times over fences last season and had fair form over timber before that. This may be a pipe-opener but he can't be ignored while Eduard easily won a Kelso bumper on his racecourse debut and Davy Russell has the reins on his hurdles bow. IFANDBUTWHYNOT kept very good company in bumpers after winning here in November last year. He was well backed on his hurdling debut against battle-hardened rivals at Perth and will have learned from the experience. David O'Meara's charge is probably the one to beat.
