In depth

Verdict

Danny John Boy landed a gamble with an easy win at Hexham last time when Toulouse Express finished a below-par sixth. It didn't escape the handicapper's attention, however, and he's been raised 14lb for his troubles. Quetzal reverted to type when well beaten at Kelso having won on fast ground at Hexham before that and Teenando has struggled off a higher mark since scoring at Carlisle back in April. A chance is taken on DOLLAR MICK's fitness as he went very close when second at Perth in May and could go one better in this lesser company on his return.
