        Verdict

        A truly dyer finish to the day's racing and only three can be given any sort of chance. Lucayan Monarch is one of those and would prefer this trip to the five furlongs at Southwell last time. Peregian has an excellent chance on his best form but hasn't produced it for some time so Bodfari Pride, on a hatrick after recent wins at Hamilton and Ayr looks the only option.
