Verdict
Top Bid is the narrow preference ahead of Jack Rackham and Sundae. The selection has always acted with a bit of cut in the ground and put up a solid enough effort behind El Bosque at Ripon on his most recent outing. Overnight rain would far from inconvenience. Jack Rackham is unproven with cut in the going so has a question or two to answer. That said, some Kyllachy's can handle cut so the market is watched for inspiration. Sundae battled well to land the odds at Newmarket and post a hat-trick in the process. A 7lb rise might be enough to stop the run. Ingleby Princess has disappointed this term and may be best watched. Barkass makes a debut for Brian Ellison having left Marcus Tregoning. Osteopathic Remedy is surprisingly dropped back to six having ran well recently over a mile. Top Bid looks to have been campaigned with this race in mind and looks the one they have to beat granted conditions.
