Verdict
Vale Of Clara has every chance in this having been dropped 3lb since a staying-on second in an apprentices' race at Catterick. Paul Hanagan is doing the steering today but a low draw may not be ideal. MITCHELL starts near the stands' rail so gets the nod as he only found one too good over course and distance on his reappearance and seems better suited by longer trips nowadays. Grand Jipeck has a bit to prove having finished well behind the selection but Pivotal Prospect should be capable of winning a race off his current mark and Hab Reeh has the ability to figure if in the mood.
