Verdict

Record Breaker won three times on the Flat last year and has been placed in three of his four starts over timber but doesn't appear to be making much progress. He could be worth opposing with a less-exposed type like bumper winner CROWNING JEWEL, who looks the form pick on his third to Bourne at Catterick in December even though he was unable to justify favouritism for a second time in a row when third at Carlisle last month. My Idea was a close-up third in a handicap over 2m here in January but hasn't reproduced that form since.
