In depth

Verdict

Half of this field are previous course and distance winners and the returning Glengarry has also won at the track. REY LOOPY continues in fine form and went close on Turf at Redcar earlier this month. He’s rated much higher on the all-weather but is difficult to ignore. Chaplin Bay is effective over 6f and 7f and was an eye-catcher behind Global Warning here 11 days ago. He did finish a length behind the race-fit Chosen World but is better off at the weights now. Custard The Dragon is probably still on a fair mark and will be hard to keep out of the frame with Algaffaal and Luis Vaz De Torres also worthy of a mention.
