    Verdict

Henry Allingham is progressing nicely and is unlikely to be troubled by the extra furlong. He will be fancied follow up his Folkestone win here though Indepub, only beaten half-a-length over 1m2f at Ripon last month, is unlikely to go down without a fight. Fire Ship and Hi There are both recent winners and warrant respect but this represents a drop in grade for MR SPIGGOTT and the top weight can open his account for the season. Fast ground and a longer trip counted against him at Goodwood last time but he won over this trip on heavy ground as a juvenile and runs at Ripon and Haydock this year confirm that he's trained on. Fourth Of June weakened quickly when tried over a mile at Newmarket last month however.
