Henry Allingham is progressing nicely and is unlikely to be troubled by the extra furlong. He will be fancied follow up his Folkestone win here though Indepub, only beaten half-a-length over 1m2f at Ripon last month, is unlikely to go down without a fight. Fire Ship and Hi There are both recent winners and warrant respect but this represents a drop in grade for MR SPIGGOTT and the top weight can open his account for the season. Fast ground and a longer trip counted against him at Goodwood last time but he won over this trip on heavy ground as a juvenile and runs at Ripon and Haydock this year confirm that he's trained on.
