Verdict
NASHWA makes a belated return to action having won the French Oaks before landing the Nassau at Goodwood last year. She’s clear at the weights and this should set her up nicely for a crack at the top prizes later in the year. Al Husn and One For Bobby are recent Listed winners and the latter debuts on the all-weather while Bright Diamond will be more at home at this level having ran in the Oaks last time. Handicap winner Misty Dancer has something to prove in this grade while Star Fortress and the selection’s stablemate Belt Buckle are the least exposed.
