Verdict

THAT'S RHYTHM showed a decent level of ability over hurdles, earning a rating of 124, and has run well in two starts over fences including on his reappearance at Hexham earlier this month so he looks the one to beat and gets the verdict ahead of Mill Side and Role On. The last mentioned is being put over the larger obstacles fairly early in his career after just seven starts by Nicky Richards but has been going the right way over hurdles and he has to be respected. High Bird Humphrey ran better than expected on his chasing debut at Carlisle earlier this month but may find this too tough, while James Lambe's Andijan has been well held in both starts over fences in Ireland. Howard Johnson's point-to-point winner Belon Gale should strip fitter for his rules debut behind the selection but he is held by That's Rhythm on their running that day and Martin Todhunter's gelding looks the one to be on.
