Verdict

Robeam made a winning start to his hurdling career at Sedgefield and Navajo Pass did likewise at Bangor but that pair have to give 5lb to three very interesting newcomers to jumping. Art Of Diplomacy won over 1m4f at Hamilton in September and Tavus won three times on the Flat up to 1m6f when trained by Roger Charlton. GRAZEON ROY has yet to win on Turf but was just denied at Doncaster last month and has scored twice on Fibresand since. He’s a half-brother to a winning hurdler who loved the mud so gets a tentative vote in a tricky opener.
