Verdict
Nelson's Bay ended a barren spell when popping up at 33/1 here last time. It remains to be seen if he can repeat that form and confirm running with previous course winner Kiwi Bay. SWANSWAY is more consistent and ran well again when runner-up over track and trip in January having won here before that. He’s preferred to First Excel, who has been raised 8lb for winning over 6f here, while Newmarket Warrior has yet to win anywhere in 23 starts now. Arithmetic is another maiden but unexposed and it will be no surprise to see him winning for new connections later in the year.
