Verdict
Bobby Shaftoe landed a hat-trick over longer trips here before well beaten at Southwell. Captain St Lucifer has rattled-up a sequence of seconds at Wolverhampton while Pallas Lord is creeping closer and was beaten only a head over track and trip a week ago having earlier finished ahead of CUSACK here. But that was the latter’s first outing since May and David Thompson’s charge gets the vote to reverse running with cheekpieces reapplied.
