    Verdict

The three with experience have shown little to get excited about, although Ordinary Hero showed speed for four furlongs on his debut at Newmarket and should certainly be the pick of them, but this should really go to a newcomer. Country Reel, a first foal out of a Listed winner in France, is entered in the Gimcrack Stakes. Coquetry is a daughter of Distant View who is a half sister to a Listed winner and boasts entries in both the Lowther Stakes and the Cheveley Park. She is just preferred, though the market might be a good guide.
