        Verdict

        A competitive fillies' handicap and the vote goes to TRANSVAAL SKY who is preferred to Paleo and Bab At The Bowster. The selection won a maiden in good style at Lingfield and she wasn't beaten far in a Conditions race at Doncaster last month over 6f. There should be more to come, the extra furlong should suit and she has a good low draw so she makes plenty of appeal. Paleo will handle the track as she has already won over the course and distance and she wasn't beaten far in a handicap at Doncaster last month. That race has worked out well so the form looks solid and she has to be on the shortlist. Bab At The Bowster beat Transfixed by a neck at Chester last month, but she had been a little disappointing when she had failed to settle previously at Sandown. Cash Queen Anna finally shed her maiden tag at the fourth time of asking at Redcar last time and if she can build on that then she could be a contender, although she will probably need to improve to make her mark. Transvaal Sky looks progressive and she gets the vote.
