Verdict
Godolphin have a good record in this race and it will be no surprise to see Hi Dubai step up on her only effort as a two-year-old and take this on her seasonal reappearance, against some exposed rivals the best of who look to be Goodness Gracious and Al Ihtithar. John Dunlop's Goodness Gracious was put in her place behind Tante Rose in the Fred Darling at Newbury on her recent return and, while she has had the benefit of a run this season, improvement is needed for her to trouble the selection. A bigger danger should be the Barry Hills-trained Al Ihtithar. From a yard that has an embarrassment of riches in the fillies department this season, she showed progressive form as a juvenile and should improve for the step up in distance but Hi Dubai is just preferred. Saeed Bin Suroor's filly lost no caste in defeat behind the useful Nayzak on her debut here last season and with plenty more to come, especially over this trip, she gets the vote. Hold To Ransom, fourth behind Khulood in the Nell Gwyn but a doubtful stayer, looks the best of the remainder.
