Verdict

A decent handicap and KNIGHTLY ESCAPADE is taken to land what would be an oh-so-welcome winner for John Dunlop who is enduring a torrid time with just three winners from 106 runners at the time of writing. The gelding has filled the minor placing on all three starts this term and now drops back to 1m4f, the trip over which he landed his only success to date at Goodwood last term. With just eight runs to date, he can improve further. In contrast, Rysbrack steps up to this trip and the son of Selkirk inhabits a good mark whilst Arizona John loves this quick ground, arrives in good form and should be competitive again off a mark of 75. Aldwick Bay would also have a chance at his best.
