        Verdict

        DAZZLING ROSE (NAP) made a promising start on Polytrack in February but didn't reappear until last month when landing a course and distance maiden. The runner-up has won subsequently and they were well clear so an opening handicap mark of 88 may be on the lenient side. City Chic was an odd-on chance when landing a Kempton maiden last August but hasn't raced since while Up In Lights, who was having her first start since November when fifth at Kempton in June, appeared to find the mile on the short side. Shafafya won a Class 4 handicap at Ripon over 1m2f then found an extra quarter-mile and a 7lb rise too much to handle at Doncaster while Invermere's two victories have been over 7f.
