Verdict

Typhoon Ten missed the break in last week’s Stewards’ Cup and won over this trip at Lingfield a year ago. Ropey Guest is only a pound higher than when second in last month’s Bunbury Cup here, with Al Rufaa unplaced, but struggles to get his head in front. Mitrosonfire is trying a new trip while Star Of Orion remains out of sorts so this can go to the three-year-old LOVE DE VEGA (NAP), who won a shade cosily over course and distance last week despite returning from more than a year on the sidelines.
