Verdict
Cognac was keeping on over a mile here last month but there must be a big doubt about his stamina over this trip on pedigree. Good Birthday has a bit to prove in first-time cheekpieces but Emissary ran in the Derby, though was out of his depth. However, he’d earlier finished second in Listed company and runs in his first handicap. Harrovian made no impression at York after winning at Doncaster but should be suited by this smaller field. DATA PROTECTION (NAP) loves the wide-open spaces at Newmarket and had a fair bit in hand when back to winning ways over course and distance two weeks ago – he can shrug off a 4lb rise.
Formwatch
