Verdict
Grey Pearl is a tough filly and could take some pegging back in this. Welsh Diva got off the mark in good style at Salisbury, but she looks on a high enough mark for what she has achieved, while Lupine ran well on unfavourable terms behind the useful Roundtree. A half-sister to the five-furlong winner Barringer, there must be a doubt about her over this trip. The main danger could prove to be Miss Pinkerton, who was beaten by a progressive filly at Leicester.
