Verdict

A couple of similar types are upped in class on the back of facile victories over 1m4f. Aidan O’Brien sends over Limerick maiden winner Dawn Rising while Al Aasy landed a novice race in soft going on the Rowley Mile here last time. But Charlie Appleby’s yard has hit top form and AL DABARAN gets another chance having tired in the closing stages when third over 1m6f in the Queen’s Vase at Ascot behind subsequent Irish Derby winner Santiago. Miss Yoda struggled in the Ribblesdale at Ascot but had earlier won the Oaks Trial at Lingfield with West End Girl back in third and she is also preferred to Sound Of Cannons. Damage Control and Summeronsevenhills have plenty to find at this level.
