        Verdict

        An open contest though Bella Notte and Wobwobwob have been beaten since winning nurseries and ZOFFARELLI is preferred. The latter finished runner-up in soft going on the July course here before opening his account at Kempton and Ralph Beckett’s colt remains of interest despite a 6lb rise. Tawaareq landed a maiden at Doncaster last time and Fairmac won a novices' race at Ayr while Mr Trick was beaten less than a length despite finishing only fourth at Newbury and all three go handicapping for the first time.
