Verdict

With only two of the 10 runners set to face the starter for this fillies' maiden having raced previously the market may provide the best guide to the likely outcome. The two with form have both run well, with Paul Cole's Burmese Princess beaten narrowly at Windsor and the Barry Hills-trained Fancy Lady finding only Russian Rhythm too good at Newmarket last time. Richard Hannon's juvenile time continues in good order so his two have to be respected with marginal preference for Rondinay, the mount of Richard Hughes. Illustria is a choicely-bred newcomer from the Mick Channon yard but would probably prefer a faster surface.
