Nawaqees is of interest here now dropped to a mile and John Dunlop's colt gets the vote of confidence ahead of Ektimaal and Lady Stardust. Although well beaten last time out when he didn't seem to get home over ten furlongs, the selection is given another chance now back over his optimum trip. Effective on any ground, he won't mind whatever happens with the weather and this mark of 81 shouldn't be beyond him. Ashes regained is unexposed and shouldn't be underestimated with Mick Kinane looking an interesting jockey booking, however of more interest may be course and distance winner Lady Stardust. She will love it if the heavens open and looks a lively contender. Adaptation appears to be more of a sprinter, whilst Wigwam Willie will find this company tougher than when winning last time out. Ektimaal would be a real threat if translating his good all-weather form to the turf although the worry is that he is yet to win over a mile. A tough finale, and the market may well provide some further clues, however Nawaquees is taken to get his head back in front.
