Verdict

LIMATO (NAP) may not be the force of old but is still capable at this level as he proved when winning last year’s renewal by over three lengths with Gordon Lord Byron back in third. Henry Candy’s charge arrives in good form having landed a couple of Listed events recently and has his favoured ground today. D'bai just missed out in a Group 2 at Doncaster last month when Breton Rock was well beaten and collateral form should give Charlie Appleby’s charge the beating of Zonderland. Dancing Star won the Group 3 Sceptre Stakes at Doncaster recently and could go well along with Mankib. The latter put a below par effort on the all-weather behind him when landing a Listed race at Newbury and is taken to reverse earlier running with Salateen today.
