Verdict

This is a maiden that usually works out well and last year was no exception with seven subsequent winners coming out of the race. Heart Of Lions bids to carry Godolphin's colours to victory for the third time in succession but stablemate and Derby entry MUNTAHAAH is likely to prove more popular with Paul Hanagan preferring him to Mulk. The latter's stable companion Shraaoh cost 175,000gns as a yearling while Sky Kingdom is entered in the Dante and Derby. Hayward Field, Private Jet and Swiftee are others to note for any significant moves in the betting. 2.45
