Verdict
Three of CONTINGENCY FEE’s four wins on Turf this year have come at Brighton and the other was on Jersey but he is clearly thriving at present and his latest second, when only beaten a head, came in better company. Hotspur Harry is preferred to Classy Dame of Robert Eddery’s pair but Atavique, who wasn’t winning out of turn over course and distance two weeks ago, looks a bigger danger. Sienna Breeze was a winner at Nottingham last month but is far from certain to stay this longer trip on breeding, though her half-brother did win over 1m4f on the all-weather.
