The second hasn’t franked the form of Saffron Beach’s victory in the Oh So Sharp here in the autumn but Jane Chapple-Hyam’s unbeaten filly appears to hold Mamba Wamba on the form book. Sacred is a strong traveller but she only managed one win last year, in a maiden, and the step up in trip could be an issue while Ventura Diamond disappointed on her only previous try over 7f. Divine Light is a beautifully-bred daughter of Kingman but her maiden win hasn’t worked out so she’ll need to take a big step forward with further likely to suit this season. LOVE IS YOU (NAP) overcame inexperience to make a winning debut at Ascot and followed up in a Listed race at Newbury. The second went close in a competitive Grade 2 in the States earlier this month so that latest form has a solid look about it with more to come from Roger Charlton’s 1000 Guineas entry.
