Verdict
Glen Molly is progressive but a 9lb rise in the weights looks a bit on the harsh side and so we will side with BALLANTRAE ahead of Perfect Silence. Plenty of in-form fillies here however we will take a chance on a horse who was well-held last time as she was outclassed in Group Three company. She was a good winner at Doncaster in September and races off a 5lb higher mark today; although kept to slow ground for the majority of her runs, if she handles the forecast quicker conditions on this seasonal return then she could run well. Spanish Cygnet was well-held behind Glen Molly last time, whilst Pyrrha comfortably holds Shaws Diamond on her Newmarket win last time out. Iasia has a point to prove following her run last time out at Sandown against the boys, Perfect Silence has a 2lb rise in the weights for her Warwick success but this looks tougher, whilst the consistent pair of Koraleva Tectona and Belle Des Airs look to be high enough in the weights now. A tough finale for punters, but we will come down on the side of Ballantrae.
