    Verdict

This can go to El Rey Del Mambo, who can confirm his superiority over All Ivory, while Collect and Safsoof still have scope for improvement and are worth considering if the market vibes are positive. Safsoot, like many of Godolphin's three-year-olds, has not been done any favours by the handicapper and faces no easy test at the weights. He also needs to learn to settle a little better than he has been doing and it may be best to just take notes on him; unless there is a significant move for him. Collect shaped up well here last month and starts her handicap career on a very fair mark. She does lack the experience of a few of these, though and there may be one or too a more wily at this stage. All Ivory also has scope and will make the selection pull out all the stops. However, El Rey Del Mambo would have gone very close had he not been hampered at a crucial stage in his last start and is fancied to gain compensation today.
