        Verdict

        El Misk beat a subsequent winner at Newcastle at the start of the month but has a penalty to carry along with November’s Wolverhampton scorer Eightsome Reel and One Vision, who overcame inexperience to make a winning debut at Newcastle in January. JALMOUD also started out at Newcastle but found a lesser-fancied stablemate too good having missed the break and then run green. He should leave that form well behind this year so is preferred to a third Godolphin runner in Mons Star and recent Lingfield second Doughan Alb.
