      Verdict

Brideshead has a decent pedigree and has to be of interest on his debut but those with experience have some decent form to their names and preference is for Mashaahed, who gets the vote ahead of Sir Michael Stoute's pair of newcomers Hasayaz and Seeking Straight. The last mentioned is bred for stamina being a Rainbow Quest colt out of a half-sister to Bonny Scot and may do better over further in time, while the Aga Khan's Hasayaz may want a softer surface. It is never easy for fillies against the colts at this time of year so David Wachman's Flamingo Guitar may be best watched on her debut, while Jeremy Noseda's Galileo colt Sixties Icon is another that may want further. David Elsworth's Degas Art stepped up on his debut effort when last seen but this looks tougher, while Galactic Star, the third of the Stoute trio in the race, is another son of Galileo that may need further. The vote then goes to Mashaahed, who improved from his first start to his second and with more to come over today's longer trip he looks the one to be on.
