Verdict
The Gosden stable has won the last four renewals and have two runners this year. Rococo was slowly away and ran green when fourth behind stablemate Nawassi here in November but still showed plenty of promise. Frankie takes over the reins today but the yard also introduce a potentially smart newcomer in AWARD WINNING, ridden by Ryan Moore. She is a 720,000gns daughter of Dubawi who is a half-sister to Group 2 and Group 3 winners here and in France. She doesn’t have any fancy entries yet but they will surely follow if she makes a winning start to her career. Ripley ran in a Listed race after just coming up short on her debut at Goodwood last year and she should be winning soon, as should Qazyna who started favourite when third at Yarmouth in October. Feline Groovy is another worth a market check.
