Verdict
Nostalgie finished ahead of both See The Sea and Carducci when winning at Wolverhampton and is raised 5lb. Conqueress ended last season with a win at Lingfield but fellow maiden winners Snow Squaw and Rinaria have had the more recent success when scoring at Salisbury and Beverley respectively. Pure Shores may finish closer dropping back in distance but a speculative vote in a wide-open contest goes to TRIBUTE ACT. James Fanshawe’s filly made a winning start at Kempton in October and it will be interesting to see what the half-sister to Group 1 winner and former stablemate Ribbons can achieve this year.
