        Verdict

        Normandy Barriere showed progressive form last season and New Bidder won a valuable handicap at the Curragh in September. Both should be winning again this year but blinkers replace the more usual visor on Leicester winner Reputation as he returns to action. King Robert and Suqoor have been competing at this level on the all-weather but the latter has yet to score on Turf so a speculative vote goes the way of GUNMETAL. A recent outing at Doncaster will have blown any cobwebs away and Charlie Hills’ grey colt is only 3lb higher than when scoring on the July course here last summer.
