Verdict
Department Of War could be anything having made a winning start over today’s trip at Nottingham last month. The Coolmore-owned colt may well improve past Court House, who steps up in trip having finished second behind the highly-regarded Gronkowski at Kempton. But OLD PERSIAN has the form in the book with a course and distance success before finding only unbeaten stablemate Key Victory too good in Listed company here. Rated 105, he looks the one to beat.
