Verdict
Autumn Pearl appears the percentage call against High Voltage and Oro Verde. Michael Jarvis' has a great week this week and his charge takes a steep drop in class from a second place in the Temple Stakes at Epsom. Although any form from that race has to be taken with a pinch of salt, there was money about for the horse and she can go in here against lesser opposition. High Voltage has bags of early speed and probably found six furlongs at York a little beyond ideal; he'll relish the drop back. Oro Verde has not quite lived up to the promise shown as a juvenile but there was plenty of encouragement to be gleaned from a recent third at Sandown Park. Green Manalishi's best form is over five furlongs and Richard Quinn (who won on him at Windsor) is reunited with the colt. Tony The Tap provides a similarly interesting jockey booking with Lisa Jones "jocking off" the champion jockey! Autumn Pearl gets the nod.
