Verdict

A case can be made for most of these but a speculative vote goes to SO BELOVED given he's dropping down a grade having found only Russian Realm too good over 7f at Goodwood last time. Life Partner also finished runner-up, over track and trip, recently but was still beaten five lengths while Sir Mike's victory at Yarmouth came over a mile. Maid A Million has claims on her best form of last season and Englishman went close over 6f at Warwick last month. Zacynthus was only beaten only a head at Newcastle and Louis Steward is good value for his 5lb allowance.
