    Verdict

Druids Ridge has been allotted a handicap mark of 85 after finding one too good at Lingfield a fortnight ago. That just gives him the edge at the weights over Ashridge Lad, well beaten in a handicap last time, and he should go close. But he had earlier finished behind ARTHENUS when the latter was third at Doncaster on his reappearance and James Fanshawe's colt may well come out best in this. Storm Check, Alshaahraman and Marigold Hotel have shown little so far but Muwaffak cost 150,000 euros and is worth a second glance on his debut.
