Verdict

MUSHAAKIS romped home by eight lengths at Musselburgh last week. Due to go up 12lb for that success, he can shrug off today's 6lb penalty and follow-up. Soaring Spirits made a decent reappearance at Nottingham and is preferred to the more exposed Not Rigg, a runner-up at the same track last time, while Persian Patriot is another to consider on her handicap debut. Sixties Queen is getting closer but has yet to race over further than 7f and Aussie Reigns disappointed last time after dead-heating for first at Windsor before that.
