In depth

Verdict

QUIVERY attracted strong support on her debut at Doncaster and though showing signs of inexperience did it nicely in the end and can defy a penalty. Dark Liberty missed the break and never got into contention at Chelmsford but was going on strongly at the finish and will have come on markedly for the run. Ruysch made a nice start on ground with some give at Doncaster and is certain to make progress while the newcomers Eastern Sunrise, a 60,000gns daughter of Dawn Approach and the second foal of a mare who produced a two-year-old winner with her first, and the 55,000gns Forest Dragon, a half-sister to two juvenile winners, are both worth a market check.
